Drupal gets 14 Summer of Code students

Google is investing $70,000 into Drupal development over the summer. The money comes via the Summer of Code program which they started in 2005 and have now extended. I'll write more later on why I feel that Google is smarter than anyone gives them credit for, and how they're getting more than their money's worth from the sponsorship, but for now, I thought I'd shine some light on the 14 excellent applicants that will be coding the projects. If you want to digg the story on Drupal.org, you can do so here.
