If only I had access to some of these pictures when I was in MCHS band back in the '70s. 8o) Your dad (or uncle) in this pic shares a great likeness with you as a youngster.
Your dad was a musical mentor to me as a trombone player in Jr/Sr High, offering lots of opportunities to blow--Jax Symphony, Gilbert/Sullivan Society, and years later with Trombone Fests. Looking back, it was an honor to learn from Mr. D.
I'll not forget the times he would tell our percussionists that his 3-year old (you) could hold a steadier beat.
