Tomorrow I will be leading a rally in Jackson, MI. Reuters has picked up the story:
On Monday, January 7, supporters of Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul will meet in downtown Jackson, Michigan one week before the January 15 primary election to help spread the message of peace, smaller government, and personal liberty.
The rally centers on the homecoming of Jackson native Robert Douglass, who is returning from Germany to cast his absentee ballot #0001 for Ron Paul that day. Mr. Douglass is flying in from Germany that day to personally hand his ballot to the county clerk, and to rally with his fellow Jackson residents for ten-term Texas Congressman
Ron Paul.
On January 7th, 2008, I will be hand delivering my absentee ballot to the Napoleon County clerk in Napoleon, Michigan. This is one week before the Michigan presidential primary. I am inviting Ron Paul supporters to join me for a rally in support of Ron Paul. Please check out the meetup.com site for details:
This is a support march in Austin, Texas, on December 17, 2007, the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party, and the day when Ron Paul's campaign raised over $6 million from individual donations.
This is the level of dedication that Ron Paul has inspired:
When I started reading the news this morning it struck me that all of the coverage of the GOP debates last night (10/21) either failed to mention Ron Paul altogether, or simply mentioned that he got booed by the Florida audience because his positions on building missile bases in Europe. I thought "oh no, maybe he's slipping... maybe they managed to shut him up, maybe he said something horrible." Then I found the compilation video of everything he said. You know, when that audience was booing, I was applauding. The other candidates don't say anything anywhere near as daring or as sincere. Shame on them. Shame on Fox and the Florida audience. For me, it was another slam dunk debate victory for Dr. Paul.
